VISSEPO & SANCHEZ, P.S.C. is a law firm established in 2006 by attorneys Jean Paul Vissepo Garriga and Edgar Sanchez Mercado, that serves multiple entities and individuals in many diverse areas of law such as general civil litigation, immigration, entertainment, copyright and trademark law issues.

With offices located in the heart of the San Juan business district, the firm represents various record labels, publishers and recording artists in all of their entertainment law related issues in the music, radio, television, newspaper and multimedia industries.

VISSEPO & SANCHEZ, also represents entities and corporations in a diversity of disputes involving administrative and corporate affairs, as well as providing counseling to individuals in immigration issues, and litigation in state and federal cases.

Our Attorneys

Founders Jean Paul Vissepo Garriga and Edgar Sanchez Mercado, are graduates of the law school of the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in the city of Ponce and members of other businesses.

Partner Jean Paul Vissepo Garriga holds a LLM masters degree in intellectual property from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL. With experience in music industry agreements, transactions and litigation, he has counseled a number of international musical artists, performers publishers, and record labels. He has also been part in litigation involving complex civil and intellectual property issues.

Edgar Sanchez Mercado has vast litigation experience throughout Puerto Rico’s court in civil and criminal cases. He has been engaged in legislative affairs and counseled various entities in construction and zonification issues, Counsel Sanchez Mercado is also member of the board of directors of various corporation and a successful private business owner.
